Sting

This was created for my AS Level Media Studies coursework project, and was my first ever attempt at filmmaking. As I was studying British gangster films at the time, Sting is heavily influenced by them. Actors were drawn from 7th Epsom Explorer Scouts troop, which I was a member of at the time, and was filmed at the troop’s building.

Sting tells the story of Detective Jack (Richard Beckett) who has finally tracked down local gangster Harry (Paul Lovett), the man responsible for the rape and attempted murder of his sister. After fighting past several bodyguards, Jack has Harry cornered. But will it be life or death as the embittered detective decides Harry’s fate.
