07/01/2015: Coconuts!
Here’s a little parody of I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts (by Fred Heatherton, a songwriting pseudonym for Harold Elton Box, Desmond Cox and Lewis Ilda) if it had been an upperclass Englishman acting as the coconut shy stall holder advertising his game.
One has a rather splendid collection of Cocos nucifera seeds, that’s coconuts to you and me. As you have no doubt noticed, I have positioned them in one long, neat row. I have a variety of sizes on offer, including large, small and ones of such ginormous stature that one could very easily encapsulate your entire cranium and mandible. Now, in order to win one of my prized coconuts, you must first take one of my wooden balls, and attempt to unbalance one with the ball from a considerable distance, employing just the power in your chosen throwing limb. Now in order to partake of this physical entertainment, all I ask is one shiny new penny for each attempt you make.
